Our hosts

Everyone at Stonewall was deeply saddened to hear the tragic news about Kristian Digby.

Kristian had been an enthusiastic supporter of Stonewall in recent years and his warm and friendly presence at our events always drew praise from those present. He always had time for everyone and was fully behind this year's Brighton Equality Walk.

Our thoughts are with his many friends and his family at this difficult time.

Guinevere Turner is an American actress and screenwriter. Turner emerged on the scene with the groundbreaking film Go Fish in 1994, which she co-wrote and co-produced with her then-girlfriend, Rose Troche. Turner also starred in the film as Camille 'Max' West.

Guinevere co- wrote with Mary Harron the screenplay for the film version of Bret Easton Ellis' American Psycho. She has a brief cameo in the film, in which she delivers the in-joke, "I'm not a lesbian!".

Guinevere went on to write for and have a part in critically acclaimed series The L Word which ran for six series before coming to an end in 2009.

Rikki Beadle-Blair is a British actor, director, screenwriter, playwright, singer, songwriter, aerobics teacher, designer, choreographer and dancer. Amongst his extraordinary repertoire of work, Rikki penned the screenplay for Nigel Finch's film Stonewall, about the Stonewall Riots; wrote, produced, and directed the Channel 4 television series Metrosexuality; and won the award for best short film at the Rushes Soho Shorts festival with his 2008 film Souljah.

Rikki also runs Team Angelica, an independent theatre company made of talented young actors who featured in the original touring production of theatre in education piece FIT.

In September 2009 Rikki wrote and directed Stonewall’s DVD version of 'FIT' featuring the original Team Angelica cast. Stonewall covered production costs of making this film with the generous donations from supporters at the 2009 Brighton Equality Walk.
